MEMENTO MORI LOGO BLACK AND SILVER ENAMELLED PENDANT NECKLACE


Memento Mori, literally meaning “Remember You Must Die,” is a message that may at first seem morbid but is in fact one of the most grounding reminders of all. It calls us to recognize the fragility of life so that we can cherish each moment and live more fully.


In our own busy lives, we can get caught up in meetings that don’t matter, doing things we don’t want to do and can take our own lives and those of those around us for granted.


Memento Mori is a reminder that there is an expiry date to all of this. We aren’t going to be here forever and neither are those that are closest to us. Remembering this makes us less likely to waste this life that is so precious and so finite. The message is sobering and allows us to constantly reassess what is important and what is unimportant.


 


THE DESIGN


Front of the pendant: Features our unique Memento Mori logo design. The ‘M’s on the design represent “Memento Mori” whereas the skull and hourglass are well-known symbols associated with the phrase.


Back of the pendant: Is blank revealing the smooth silver plating.


 


THE SPEC


The pendant is 20mm in diameter and 2mm thick. The pendant is brass metal which has then been polished and silver plated.


After this, the pendant has then been enamelled and hand painted in black. A layer of clear resin has been applied to both sides to encase the paint for protection.


The silver chains are made of sterling silver. The chains are delicate but strong.


These pendants aren't suitable for wearing in the shower/for swimming as the moisture/chemicals can damage the plating and resin.


All pendants come securely and thoroughly packaged and include a black necklace box as per the image.

We only offer exchanges on our Stoic Rings if there is a sizing issue. If you do wish to exchange ring sizes, the customer is required to pay for the shipping of the return of the ring and the shipping of the new ring.
